Halloween Preparations

Happy Halloween! Oscar was sure excited for the day (as you can see).


He kept mommy company in the kitchen in his little swing as she made some treats for their friends, the McDonald's, to come over for trick-or-treating fun.


Started off making your typical rice krispie treats...but added some food coloring to turn it pumpkin color...

Then added green straw "stems" and voila--a gooey delicious "pumpkin" for even MORE sugar intake on Halloween!


We definitely approved. :)

We also projected "Harry Potter" and then "Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin" onto a sheet on our bay window so that the trick-or-treaters could enjoy the scenes as they walked by. One group I overheard say "Man, that's tight!" I'm assuming that was a good thing (man, I feel old)...
