Schniblet's Room is Ready!

Alright, baby, you can come anytime now. Your room is ready, thanks in LARGE part to your Gramacita Barb slaving away--washing clothes, organizing furniture, hanging pictures, cleaning floors and windows, and basically helping me get things ready for you (I wouldn't have been able to do it without her). The changing table (a hand-me-down buffet from Dave's late grandma Eleanor) with photos of birds that I just fell in love with (see other picture for a close-up); The dresser (another hand-me-down from the Schlomer side) holding all kinds of teeny-weeny outfits; the rocking corner (rocker--yep--a hand-me-down from friend Pam Botten's family), and the armoir (hand-me-down from Dave's cousin) filled with Schniblet's soon to be best buds (stuffed animals). This kid's gonna live in STYLE! Our crib isn't available in the US right now, (waiting for IKEA to restock), but we're luckily using more hand-me-downs for sleeping--a pack n' play from Uncle Davey & Auntie Michelle, and a bassinet from Grandma Mary (the one she even used as a child!). We're so blessed to have such loving family and friends!

Preggo Progression

So, I decided that I would put together this posting of my preggo pictures throughout Schniblet's gestation. Enjoy (and warning--what you are about to see is a large belly). :) (Pictured, from left to right, Week 16, Week 24, Week 28, Week 33, Week 38)

Happy 5-Year Anniversary!

Dave and I celebrated our five-year wedding anniversary today. I'm still so much in love...we laugh every day together, and I thank God for all of the blessings He's given us in marriage to each other. We celebrated our special day with a dinner out, a Dairy Queen blizzard (pure bliss), and the final episode in our Lord of the Rings trilogy we've been re-watching as of late. Nothing says "romance" like battling Orcs, in my opinion. :)

Latest Ultrasound

We learned that Schniblet is breech this week, which means Sarah will have a C-section (scheduled for early July). We're very thankful that there is the medical technology to make this possible.

Two last ultrasound pictures before we get to meet Baby Melander!!

Weird...
