The Many Looks of Oscar--Part 18: Chewbacca

Okay, so this isn't so much how much he LOOKS like a Wookie (maybe someday he'll get more hair...), but how much he SOUNDS like one :

Getting Cultured

The other week, I had the opportunity to meet my friend Becky (along with her little boy, Carson) at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts to view their "Art in Bloom" series (where local florists recreate various art images through the medium of flowers. Very cool). Here's some pics from the day:

The yellow thing behind us is ALL FLOWERS. Gorgeous.

Say Aaaaaaaahhhhh

Oscar got to meet my favorite statue of all time:

Breakfast, Anyone?

What do you think this breakfast is thinking?

"She thinks I look delicious? My oh my that's flattering."

"She has that wild, hungry look in her eye again. Uh-oh."

"What? Is my bacon showing?!!"

Zoo Season

Oscar & I went to the Como Zoo with Grammy Mary the other week. We saw some monkeys and a baby orangutan and Oscar's favorite--fish!

Samantha and Octavia joined us there with their cute bonnets.

Peter-Pan Wannabee

Oscar is very intrigued by his own shadow. On certain sunny days, he follows it around and jabbers to it. Maybe he IS the next Peter Pan!
