Well, as much as I WANTED to strip Oscar down and paint him metallic gold, it didn't quite happen. Alas...maybe next year. :)

BUT, the Oscar for CUTEST NEW COUSIN goes to: Malcolm Paul Schlomer (born to my brother Paul and sis-in-law Erin on Friday, February 20th--7 lbs 11 oz, 20-ish inches long). Talk about CUTE! He and Oscar are going to be good buds, I can tell. Now we just gotta meet him in person!

My good friend, Emily, came in town from WI for a visit...Oscar was enamoured with her and wouldn't let her out of his site.

Squirmy

He was sitting and playing quietly, I left the room to wash my hands, and came immediately back to find him like this. No worse for the wear...but this boy is starting to get VERY squirmy and active. Crawling is close on his heels, I have a feeling.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We celebrated by having a wicked fun game night (surrounded by friends we L-O-V-E), wearing obnoxious amounts of red, and baking up delicious cookies (that spelled out "Happy Valentine's Day"). Any excuse to consume chocolate is okay by me!
