Quote of the Day...

I had made this large (3ft x 6ft) chalk board, and Dave and his dad Bob graciously hung it up in the dining room for me. Love it! Now I can write all sorts of messages on it weekly. And I do!

Visiting Great Grandma Ruby

We had a day trip to Watertown, SD to visit Sarah's grandmother, Ruby (and Sarah's mom who's also visiting). Oscar was in full force--he helped "push" her chair, he "talked" to the birdies in the lobby, loved the ice cream snack, and entertained everyone with multiple renditions of "Happy Birthday To YOU!!!" on the stage in the commons area (video coming soon). It was good to see both Sarah's mom and grandma.





It was bizarre: for much of the drive, the sky was the exact same shade and color as the snow on the ground. There was no horizon! Crazy cool.
