Quiche

Got this recipe from my sister-in-law Katie, and have loved her for it (among many other things). It's SO EASY and SO DELICIOUS and with all the protein in the yogurt and eggs SO HEALTHY for you, too! And, if I do say so myself, this one turned out SO PRETTY, don't you think?! :)

RECIPE for EASY QUICHE
1 frozen or store-bought crust (or make your own for semi-easy quiche)
4 eggs
1.5 C plain yogurt
anything else you want to add (things I've added: salt & pepper, herbs, peppers, different types of cheeses--pepperjack is quite tasty, bacon crumbles, tomatos--best on top so middle doesn't get soupy, broccolli, etc.)

Bake at 375 for 45 min or until center is set and edges are golden. Easy to reheat in skillet or micro, too.

Retro Boy

Grammy Mary found this shirt that both Dave and his older brother Mark had worn in their youths...it fit Oscar perfectly, so we had a "retro day". Love the wide collar! :)

Oscar's Girlfriends

Oscar has many gal playmates, but he and Abby seem to be especially lovey. When they go on walks together, they often reach out to hold hands (to which their mothers absolutely awwwww over!). Who knows? I'd definitely approve of those in-laws!!! :)

These are a Few of O's Favorite Things...

He absolutely LOVES to "drive" a car. And Grampy and Poppa (shown) seem only happy to oblige (thus securing favorite status...they're smart those two!)

Funny Lil' Man: 2

Quotes from the O-Man lately:

"Mommy, it's GORGEOUS out here!" (When we stepped outside one morning. I had to agree--it was a lovely day.)

"Mommy, tomorrow, let's go to the grocery store and buy some donuts." (Ummm...how many two-year-olds can use 12-word sentences? I know I'm bragging, but it's my blog, so I've a right to!)

(this is to Grandpa) "Poppa, ice cream truck!!!"
Poppa: "I don't think we're going to get any ice cream today, Oscar--you just had a treat yesterday."
Oscar: "Let's go ask Grandma." (smart guy, that Oscar)
